Older the Wiser

For our joint birthday party, Taylor and I went to Lake Anna last Sunday with Dad to go tubing and water skiing. It was a blast! We hopped in a small water tube and took off at thirty miles per hour, hanging on for dear life as the boat spun into the other direction snapping the rope at fifty miles per hour around curves. If holding on meant pushing each other in the water, it was considered an added plus. Taylor stood up on skis for her first time and stayed up for a good ten or fifteen seconds, all in all we were out on the water for five hours straight! It was one of the best times I've had on the lake. Now I'm sitting in bed with four wisdom teeth in a jar somewhere and watching Jack do his job, and you wouldn't believe it, but he is running out of time!
